RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. PARTIES

“Temporary Showroom Props” or “TSP” – TEMPORARY SHOWROOM PROPS E.E., a company registered in Greece (Tax ID: GR802985574) with principal place of business at Agias Annis 51A, Ag. I. Rentis, 18233, Athens, Greece.

“Client” – the individual or company named in the Rental Invoice (as defined below).

2. RENTAL INVOICE

All furniture, decorative items, lighting fixtures, and other props rented by Client (each an “Item”) shall be covered by a quotation and rental invoice specifying the rental fee, rental period, Client’s business details, and VAT number where applicable.

Payment must be completed before collection of Items. If Client’s registered business address is outside Greece, Client must provide a local representative who shall be jointly liable for all terms and conditions herein.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the Rental Agreement is subject to these Terms and Conditions.

3. RENTAL PERIOD AND CHARGES

The “Rental Period” is the period between the date Items are collected by Client and the date they are due to be returned to TSP.

Standard Rental Period: 3 days from collection date.

Rental charges are specified in the quotation provided by TSP for each Item. All prices are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.

Cancellation: A cancellation fee of 50% of the total rental charge will apply for confirmed bookings cancelled within one working day before the scheduled collection date.

4. EXTENDED RENTAL

Client may not extend the Rental Period without prior written agreement with TSP. 

If an Extended Rental is agreed, TSP will provide a revised quotation and invoice. 

5. PAYMENT TERMS

Payment is due in full before collection of Items via bank transfer to the account details provided by TSP.

Bank transfer details will be included in the invoice. Proof of payment must be provided before Items can be released.

TSP reserves the right to withhold Items until payment has been confirmed.

6. LOSS, DAMAGE AND CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY

Client shall be responsible for keeping all Items safe, secure, and in good condition throughout the Rental Period and any time the Items are in Client’s possession or control.

Items returned damaged, altered, stained, or in worse condition than when collected will be repaired or restored by TSP at Client’s expense. This includes all reasonable costs of restoration, cleaning, repair, depreciation in value, and loss of future rental income.

Items that are lost, stolen, or cannot be restored will be charged to Client at full replacement value.

It is Client’s responsibility to insure hired Items if desired. Client must inspect all Items upon collection and report any discrepancies or damage.

7. COLLECTION AND RETURN

Collection Hours:

Monday to Friday: 09:00 – 17:00 and by prior arrangement
Saturday: By prior arrangement only

Collection Location: Agias Annis 51A, Ag. I. Rentis, 18233

Client is responsible for arranging transport for collection and return of Items and for providing the appropriate packing materials. TSP reserves the right to refuse loading if the transport or the packing material provided is deemed unsuitable for the safe transport of the Items. 

8. DELIVERY

TSP does not offer delivery services. All Items must be collected from and returned by the Client to the TSP showroom. TSP can introduce to the client a professional transport company that specializes in film and tv productions and help with the coordination and arrangements.

9. CARE AND PRESERVATION OF ITEMS

No alterations, modifications, painting, or permanent changes shall be made to Items without prior written consent from TSP.

Client must inform TSP of the location where Items will be used and stored during the Rental Period upon request.

10. PERMITTED USE AND RESTRICTIONS

Grant of Use: TSP grants Client the non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Items solely for the purpose agreed (production, commercial, series, film, event, or photography).

Items may not be sub-rented, lent, or transferred to any third party without written permission from TSP.

Breach: Any unauthorized use, alteration, or sub-rental of Items will be considered a material breach of this agreement. TSP reserves the right to require immediate return of Items and to charge Client for any resulting losses.

Liability: Client acknowledges and agrees that it remains liable for the actions of its employees, contractors, agents, and freelancers in connection with the use of the Items.

11.OWNERSHIP

Ownership of all Items remains with TSP at all times. Client has no ownership rights in the Items and may not sell, pledge, mortgage, or otherwise encumber the Items.

12. INDEMNITY

Client shall indemnify and hold harmless TSP against any claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Damage to or loss of Items while in Client’s possession
• Personal injury or property damage caused by Client’s use of the Items
• Any third-party claims related to Client’s use of the Items

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TSP is not responsible for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

Items are provided “as-is” and TSP makes no warranty that Items are fit for any particular purpose beyond their standard rental use.

14. COPYRIGHT AND LICENSING

We do not hold specific permissions, releases, clearances or licenses for furniture, art and other items. It is the client’s responsibility to research and obtain any necessary permission, release, clearance or license for use in their event, production, commercial, film, television programme, or photography.

15. DISPUTES AND GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Greek law.

Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Athens, Greece.

The parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes amicably through good faith discussions before pursuing formal legal proceedings.

16. GENERAL PROVISIONS

Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between TSP and Client.

Amendments: No amendment or variation to these Terms shall be valid unless agreed in writing by both parties.
